SDD25/11_03: Thom Browne has once again redefined fashion storytelling with an immersive retail experience at Beijing’s Sanlitun Taikoo Li. Returning to this iconic location, the brand has unveiled the Thom Browne Garden Tour, a conceptual exploration of spring, seamlessly blending heritage, modernism, and the vitality of nature. Inspired by Thom Browne’s signature use of primary color muslin, the space embodies a sense of purity and artistic intent, capturing the essence of renewal. Visitors are invited to step into an environment where mid-century modern aesthetics meet the energy of sportsmanship, brought to life through innovative tailoring and sculptural silhouettes. The 2025 Spring/Summer collection breathes new life into the brand’s collegiate influences, transforming traditional styles with bold proportions and fluid movement.
A striking visual motif throughout the space is the hand-painted floral designs in Thom Browne’s signature red, white, and blue. Roses, amaryllis, tulips, and lilies bloom across garments, infusing the collection with a sense of organic artistry. The immersive experience is further elevated by live music performances from Mola Oddy band members Amber Kuo, Yider, and ASR, who lead audiences into this theatrical garden setting. Even Thom Browne’s beloved Hector the dog makes an appearance, carrying a bouquet in the brand’s signature tricolor palette, as if inviting guests on a spring adventure. This limited-time installation transforms the boutique into a poetic celebration of nature and design, reinforcing Thom Browne’s mastery in creating fashion experiences that extend beyond the runway and into the heart of retail innovation.
