Loewe House, Jing'an District Shanghai China.

SDD25/07_03: Loewe has unveiled its latest architectural masterpiece in Shanghai with the opening of Casa Loewe at No. 1515, Nanjing West Road, Jing’an District. The store’s breathtaking golden façade, crafted from 35,536 handcrafted ceramic tiles by Barcelona-based Studio Cumella, is a testament to the brand’s dedication to material innovation and artisanal excellence. Each tile undergoes a meticulous five-step process, shaping, drying, glazing, firing, and packaging, resulting in a shimmering, textured surface that reflects Loewe’s artistic identity. The materials, sourced from eastern Spain, create a luminous, statement-making presence in downtown Shanghai, reinforcing the brand’s ability to merge fashion, craftsmanship, and architectural brilliance.

Inside, Casa Loewe Shanghai is designed to feel like an art collector’s home, blending natural materials, ceramic artistry, and contemporary design to create an immersive shopping experience. Alongside the latest Loewe collections, the space features works by Han Dong, Paul Thek, and John Allen, highlighting the brand’s deep connection to the art world. Offering its full product range, the store also includes a VIC Room on the second floor for exclusive clientele. As Loewe’s second Casa location in Shanghai and fourth in mainland China, this new opening cements the brand’s commitment to elevating luxury retail through artistic and architectural expression.
