SDD25/03_03: Mestiz, a bold creative studio based in San Miguel de Allende, is reshaping visual merchandising with its imaginative and culturally rich designs. For the third consecutive year, the studio has partnered with Hermès México to craft enchanting window displays across the country. This year’s concept draws inspiration from a whimsical dream of pegasi piñatas and storks gliding through colorful clouds, transforming each Hermès location into a fantastical scene. Highlights include equestrian motifs at Artz Pedregal, vibrant stork-inspired designs in Cancún, and radiant sunshine themes at Polanco II, all seamlessly blending artistry and storytelling.
What sets Mestiz apart is its commitment to local craftsmanship and meaningful design. Collaborating with regional artisans, the studio incorporates natural materials like palm, wood, ceramics, wool, and wicker to create displays deeply rooted in their cultural context. These elements honor the history and essence of each locale, making every piece a dialogue between tradition and innovation. Mestiz’s Hermès México windows showcase the power of merging fantasy with authenticity, offering a masterclass in creating retail spaces that captivate and inspire.
